About Us:

Certified athletic-trainers (ATCs) are medical experts in preventing, recognizing, managing, and rehabilitating athletic injuries that result from physical activity. Athletic trainers can help you avoid unnecessary medical treatment and disruption of normal daily life.

ATCs are highly qualified, multi-skilled allied health care professionals and have been part of the American Medical Associatons Health Professions Career and Education Directory for more than a decade. Additionally, the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine - among others - are all strong clinical and academic supporters of athletic trainers.

Each staff member posses current certification through the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) and are also first aid, AED, and CPR certified.

Visiting Team Information

On behalf of the athletic training staff at Treasure Valley Community College, we would like to welcome you and your team to our campus for the upcoming athletic event.

This section was created to assist visiting teams prior to and during their stay at Treasure Valley Community College. Our staff athletic trainers will be available to assist you during your visit to Ontario. Teams traveling with an athletic trainer are welcome to use our facilities. If an athletic trainer is not accompanying your team, please send a signed list of treatment procedures or please notify us in advance. We ask that you provide your own taping supplies. On game day you will be supplied with water, ice bags, cups and biohazard equipment. We will be happy to accommodate your needs if prior arrangements have been made.

The John J Easley Athletic Training Room will be available 2 hours prior to an event. If you need access to the facility prior to these times, please contact the atletic trainer prior to your visit or make arrangements upon your arrival.
